Portrait of an African Woman–Mozambique Photo Ed.
This past January I traveled to Mozambique with Africa Water Is Life and Art4Africa to document the water situation and learn more about Mozambican people and their beautiful culture. In order to maintain the integrity of our upcoming art show, please understand that most of the photos shown here will probably not be included in the gallery. Simply consider this a glimpse of a glimpse of what’s to come.
This woman struck me as an individual possessing great, internal joy, protected by an exoskeleton of hardness. After spending a week with her, she finally let down her guard, smiled and entertained us all with her dancing and laughter. I was blessed to capture these portraits of her on the day the drill team from World Hope hit clean water for her village.

She looks like a wonderful lady and very beautiful. Great photos. hard to sense how old she is. I’d bet she is inteligent and wise in her country.
Awesome photos. Wish I lived closer to Indy to see the show! Much love from World Hope!! :)
