Songs To Close Summer
Alas, summer, once again, is through. To commemorate its close and celebrate its prior existence, I’ve composed a list of songs from this glorious, now historic, season. In short, what a spectacular summer it has been! From Indy to Prague to Asheville to Boone to Indy once more, we got to experience so much and be a part of so many incredible moments.
Even now (today!) these times are filled with excitement and new opportunities to live–to really, authentically live–and there is nothing better than being alive today, moving and speaking for the glory of a greater cause and for one another. There is no better day than today. We have nothing more than the present, this very moment, and my hope is that we live in it while we can. Today is a day for living. Have you considered your life today? Have you considered how incredible it is simply to be alive, to breathe, to run, to speak, to have a beating heart, an inquisitive mind, a discerning eye, a sturdy spine? Have you considered how fortunate you are to be alive, today?
Enjoy the tunes. You can listen to any of them by simply pushing play. Please let me know if you have any others you’d like to add. I’m always looking for fresh tunes. Enjoy the day!
