Free OK Go Concert Tickets!

OK Go, otherwise known as the “treadmill music video band” is coming to Indy, and I’ve got two free tickets to give away!

It’s been a long winter here in Indianapolis. It’s been cold. It’s been snowy. There were multiple, back-to-back days when the only evidence of the sun was the dim light which snuck through the dense, lower atmosphere and lit our way as the frigid air outside latched onto every bare plot of flesh we haphazardly left uncovered. However, today I took a run outside. I wore shorts. It was delightful–absolutely delightful! To celebrate, I’m giving away two free tickets to OK Go’s upcoming show here in Indy! I’ve never given away anything from Love{All}People (so here goes!), and I thought now was as good a time as any. I am so thankful for your readership. You continue to come back time and time again, and through your feedback and interaction I’ve been challenged on many occasions throughout the past months. Thank you for reading. Thank you for reading. Thank you for reading. Thank you for sharing, commenting, subscribing, contemplating, and being a part of this community. Even if there are only a few, you are important, and I truly cherish your engagement and feedback. My hope is that in everything we say and do, we can continually and genuinely love all people.

Here’s how to win:

Simply comment below. I have a number preselected. The comment that lands on that number will get the tickets. You can comment twice to increase your chances, and if you share this post on Twitter or Facebook, you’re allowed to comment for each share you contribute. Easy. Have fun. Thanks for reading.

  1. What are the chances you chose #1?

    I want these puppies bad…

  3. Here is my second post.

  4. Whoops…I commented under your name by accident…how about #5 :)

  5. Also, what are the chances that Parke is waiting to leave a reply in the post number he preselected so that he wins the tickets for himself?

  6. @Ryan
    The chances that I chose #1 are just as good as the chances I chose any other number. Hope that helps :)

    @Adam
    You are out to win it, I can tell. I like your aggressiveness!

    @Quinn
    Don’t worry. I already bought you a ticket. Remember? :)Basically, whoever wins, will get to go with us. Hopefully, I just sweetened the deal, not killed it.

    @Dan
    See my response to Quinn’s comment. Rest assured, I’m not counting my own comments. Thanks for the concern, however :)

  7. This would make an awesome birthday present for the hubby. (And wouldn’t be breaking our no gifts budget rule for the year because it would be free!)

    yes please!

  9. Charissa Birnbaum |

    please sir, may i have another?

  10. Free is always fun…and free music is even better! I want to play too! :)

  11. Holy smokes, I’m excited for this concert!

  12. How about me!? I’m really excited about the concert!

  13. Woo-hoo! I’m getting more and more excited about OK Go in Indy. Thanks everyone for playing. How about we let the contest run at least another week, then I’ll announce the winner. The number I picked hasn’t been hit yet, and if we don’t get there than I’ll simply select a name out of a hat. Therefore, if you have more comments, you’ll have your name in the hat more times. Good luck! :)

  16. Hey Parke! I’ve been reading your blog now for the past couple months and I’ve got to say, you have some serious thoughts brewing in that head of yours. Your articles really challenge me sometimes, both mentally, physically, and spiritually. I figured I would use this competition as a gateway for letting you know my interest in your blog and to keep up the good work. Although it doesn’t really matter if I win this competition or not, I find it funny that running in shorts on a beautiful day sparked it. Hope you and Quinn are doing well and I hope to hear from you and see you soon, love ya!

  17. I thought we were only allowed 2 comments? Clarification requested kind sir. Thank you!

  18. @Calvin Cook
    Thanks for the love. I appreciate you taking the time to share, and I can’t wait to catch up! Run well. We will see you soon, hopefully :)

    @Adam Sloop

    You’re correct. 2 comments allowed unless you share this article on either facebook or twitter. For every share, another comment.

    @Andrew Meador

    Dude, thanks for the comments and playing. However, I can only count 2 of your comments. Sorry man. The amount of times you share, the amount of extra comments you get to have.

    Sorry for the confusion. With future giveaways, I’ll definitely make the rules clearer. Thanks for playing! I’ll plan on announcing the winner by this weekend.

    Ooh, I want these!

    Comment #2 for good luck & measure!

  21. Okay, I shall try again! :)

  22. Well hello. I would love to win these tickets. But mostly, I would just love to spend a delightful evening with you and your beautiful wife.

  23. I would like that so much, in fact, that I’m submitting another comment so as to increase my chances of winning.

    :)

    i have to admit, i didn’t really read the instructions; all i saw was get the winning comment number, haha! i hate to be “that guy…”

  25. Congratulations to Leah Shattuck! She is the winner of the OK Go tickets. :-)

    Thanks everyone for playing and for reading. This was fun so stay tuned for future giveaways.
