Break Dancing, Digging Wells, Helping Haiti, Francis Chan, & Guatemalan Art

When I become so consumed with a single artistic outlet, I tend to lose track of the gentle simplicities which are incorporated into those things (or people) which are unique to my personal creative environment.

This week I came across some excellent art in the form of dance, video, design, storytelling, and loving action.  Enjoy!

Break dancing teens.  Always classic.  Found this beauty thanks to Jon.  Stick around for the kid in the orange shirt.  Skillz, mad.

Design work by Indy based blogger, Brad Ruggles, working with Compassion to build a site for their upcoming Help Haiti Live event. Notice the incorporation of the Haitian flag into the design.  Sweet.

A story told by Francis Chan.  Cute yet challenging.  Got to appreciate the work that went into this piece. 

Doc Hendley.  CNN Hero.  Builder of wells.  Fellow Boonie (Boone, NC, resident).  All around journeyman for spreading love.  Now harvesting water for children in Haiti.

The local, Indy based church spreading love in Guatemala.  Helped an art school.  Helped a lot of people.
